Dr. Cohn was born and raised in Kansas. He graduated from KSU in 1987 and moved to Idaho to begin his career working with small animals. He spent 2 years at the Humane Society where he learned that many of the animals left there were because of behavior problems. He opened the doors to Critter Clinic, in May of 1993, with his focus being on preventative and behavioral care.
Dr. Thresher graduated from U.C. Davis in 1992 with an emphasis in exotic medicine. She began her career with the Humane Society of Santa Clara County where she helped set up the pre-adoption vaccination program and their health and behavior evaluations. Before leaving California with her family in 2001, Dr. Thresher joined a private practice doing small animal medicine and surgery, as well as working with local wildlife.
She began working here at Critter Clinic November of 2002 and has been enjoying the many outdoor activities Idaho has to offer.
Dr. Huter is a native of Idaho and grew up on the family ranch in Marsing. She decided to follow in her grandfather's footsteps and pursued a career in animal medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Idaho in 1997 with a degree in Animal Science. She graduated in 2001 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. In 2011 Dr. Huter joined us here at Critter Clinic.
